Fun coloring and word search activities for kids at home

With many Americans having to work and learn from home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Southern Nuclear Energy Education Centers are sharing some fun activities for your kids (and you too) to help stimulate brains and occupy time.

We’ve created coloring sheets based on a cooling tower and the two types of reactors operated in the Southern Nuclear fleet: pressurized water reactors (Plant Farley and Plant Vogtle) and a boiling water reactor (Plant Hatch). The coloring sheets include a teacher’s guide for parents to use as a learning tool if desired.
