Eric Loehlein

Site Vice President of Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 & 2

Eric Loehlein became Site Vice President of Vogtle Units 3&4 in March 2026, after serving as Plant Manager.

Eric joined Southern Nuclear in 2020 as Organizational Effectiveness Manager at Vogtle 1&2 and became Work Management Director the following year. In 2022, he moved to Vogtle 3&4 as Project Director for Testing and Turnover and later served as Operations Director and General Manager of Engineering. He was named Plant Manager in April 2025.

Eric came to SNC from Energy Harbor Nuclear company’s Beaver Valley Station where he was the Decommissioning Manager. Eric obtained his Senior Reactor Operator License at Beaver Valley in 2010 and served as Shift Manager, Operations Support Superintendent, Operations Director and Maintenance Director.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from the           University of Pittsburgh.
